With stunning natural backdrops, ideal for your wedding photography, a choice of ceremony spaces and a private reception area, Briar Ridge is the perfect place to say your ‘I do’s’ and celebrate with family and friends. Award-winning cuisine prepared by catering partners, Bistro Molines, and an impressive selection of delicious Briar Ridge wines is the icing on the cake!
CEREMONY
Featuring two terraces and numerous secluded garden alcoves from which to choose, the tranquil gardens of Briar Ridge, overlooking vineyards and farmlands are quite magical and unique. The style of your ceremony can also be tailored, with your choice of alter (think rustic arbour or wine barrels) and seating. Either option with our unique church pews are charming and, when coupled with an abundance of florals, add to the garden’s natural aesthetic.
Post ceremony lawn games, sparkling wine and canapés will keep your wedding guests entertained, while you make your way to our breathtaking estate vineyards to capture your first moments as a married couple.
RECEPTION
The elegant Rose Room and adjoining terrace with delightful garden vistas is an ideal private space for your ensuing celebrations. Both areas can be styled as desired or are just as lovely with minimal styling. There is no ‘function room’ feel to this space with artwork, furniture and French Provincial décor carefully selected to enhance the rooms appeal without being obtrusive. A number of seating plans are also available to create the right feel for your reception.
FOOD & WINE
Briar Ridge partners with the Hunter Valley’s highly acclaimed restaurant, Bistro Molines for the catering of your special day. Keen foodies can design their own menu with Robert or select from his seasonal menu and signature dishes.
Teaming up with Bistro Molines allows us to offer the highest quality cuisine from the kitchen of Robert Molines, a true ‘Hunter Valley Legend’.
“The dappled sunlight that filters through surrounding native trees in the afternoon is simply enchanting. The scenery and vistas are truly unique to Briar Ridge and this area of the Valley. It’s easy to see why this place is so special. If I could go back in time, this is where Robert and I would have our wedding day.”
Sally Molines
The wine made by Briar Ridge is also exemplary and despite being a boutique winery, their range is significant. There is something for everyone to enjoy from Pink Moscato and Rosé to Hunter classic styles and alternative varieties.
